Refund policy

14-day money-back guarantee

If a theme or the All Access bundle is not right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase and ask for a refund. Include the email address used at checkout and the name of the theme or bundle.

Digital downloads are delivered immediately by Gumroad. Any checkout consent about immediate delivery does not affect the separate 14-day guarantee offered here. It also does not affect your legal rights if a theme is faulty, misdescribed or does not perform as promised.

Refunds are returned through the original payment method. Currency-conversion differences charged by banks or payment providers are outside Themes By Kyle's control.

Theme licences

Buying a theme gives you a perpetual licence to use it; it does not transfer its copyright or permit redistribution. Choose the site allowance that fits your work.

Single site — US$149

Use the purchased theme on one live Ghost site, including a site built for a client. Local-development and staging copies of that same site are included.

Agency — five sites — US$349

Use the purchased theme on up to five live Ghost sites, including your own sites and client sites. Local-development and staging copies of each licensed site are included. This licence covers one theme; it does not grant access to other themes.

All Access — US$549, paid once

Includes Society, Broadsheet, Manifesto, Hamptons, Columnist, Sanctuary, Blyton, Splash and Blogga, plus every new Ghost theme released under Themes By Kyle in the future, with no additional theme purchase or renewal payment.

Each included theme has its own single-site licence: one live Ghost site per theme, including client work, plus local-development and staging copies of that same site. The allowance is per theme, so you cannot use several unused theme licences to run the same theme on several live sites. For that, purchase an agency licence or additional single-site licences for that theme.

New themes are added to your existing All Access purchase through Gumroad. No release schedule or minimum number of future releases is promised. Other products, integrations, hosting and bespoke services are outside this theme bundle.

Terms shared by every licence

• Client work is allowed. You may install and customise a theme for a client when that live site is covered by the purchased site allowance.
• Customisation is allowed. You may edit the theme code for licensed sites.
• Redistribution is not allowed. Do not sell, share, publish or repackage the theme or a substantially similar derivative as a theme product.
• Ghost(Pro) Starter is excluded. It does not support custom themes. Use a Ghost plan that supports custom themes or a compatible self-hosted installation.
• 14-day money-back guarantee. Every licence and the All Access bundle are covered by the refund policy.

Updates

Every licence includes every update released during the lifetime of each purchased or included theme. If a theme is retired, your existing licence remains valid, but new updates are not promised after the announced retirement date. All Access continues to include future Ghost themes released under Themes By Kyle.

Support scope

Email support covers installation, documented settings and confirmed defects in an unmodified current release. Bespoke design work, custom code changes, third-party integrations, hosting administration and problems caused by unsupported modifications are not included.

Privacy

The marketing site does not contain an account system or payment form. In your browser it stores only your chosen light/dark appearance and announcement-bar preference. If you choose the mailing list, your signup is processed by Brevo as explained below. The store also records a small set of anonymous first-party events used to understand whether it is helping people choose a theme.

Purchases

Payments, tax calculation, receipts and digital delivery are processed by Gumroad. Gumroad receives the information you enter at checkout under its own privacy terms. Themes By Kyle receives the order information Gumroad makes available to the seller so the purchase can be fulfilled and supported.

Mailing list and launch checklist

The Ghost Publication Launch Checklist is available to download without joining a mailing list. If you choose the email option, Themes By Kyle uses Brevo to store your email address and signup details, confirm your subscription, and send the checklist, three welcome emails and occasional news about themes and significant updates. The lawful basis for these marketing emails is your consent.

Brevo processes the address you provide and records needed to operate the list, including subscription and confirmation details, delivery information, email opens, link clicks and unsubscribe status. Its forms and email links may also process routine technical information needed to provide and protect the service. See Brevo's privacy policy. Your details are not sold.

You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or contact [email protected]. Your address is used for this list while you remain subscribed. A limited suppression record may be kept after you unsubscribe so your choice can be honoured. You may ask for access to or deletion of information held about you, subject to applicable record-keeping requirements.

Addresses collected by the earlier release-news form are held separately in Cloudflare Workers KV, together with the source page, signup date and time, and a two-letter country code. That form also used Resend to send Themes By Kyle a notification containing those details. Existing subscribers are not automatically enrolled in the new welcome sequence. Contact [email protected] to ask about or remove an earlier signup.

Site measurement

The store records a limited set of events such as viewing a theme, opening a demo, choosing a purchase link or joining the mailing list. Each record contains the event name, relevant theme, page path, link label and time. When Gumroad reports a completed order, the store also records the theme, amount, currency and time so aggregate click-to-purchase performance can be understood. It does not retain the buyer's email, name, Gumroad sale identifier or order number in these measurement records. No analytics cookie, referrer, query string, user agent, session identifier or location is stored. Records are kept for up to 90 days in Cloudflare Workers KV and are exposed to the store owner only as aggregate counts.

Email

If you email Themes By Kyle, your address and message are used to answer the enquiry and retain a reasonable support record. They are not sold or added to a marketing list without consent.

Hosting and fonts

The site is hosted through Cloudflare, which may process routine security and access-log data. Storefront fonts are served directly by Themes By Kyle rather than requested from a third-party font service. No behavioural advertising or third-party analytics script is intentionally included on the marketing site.

Your choices

You may ask for a copy or deletion of personal information held directly by Themes By Kyle, subject to legal record-keeping requirements, by emailing [email protected].

Purchase terms

• Theme prices are stated in US dollars and exclude VAT or sales tax where Gumroad is required to add it.
• Payment, tax calculation and file delivery are handled by Gumroad.
• The buyer is responsible for confirming that their Ghost installation supports custom themes. On Ghost(Pro), this means Publisher or higher; Starter does not support custom themes.
• The current supported Ghost version and material product limitations are stated on the relevant product page.
• You are responsible for backing up your Ghost site before installing or updating a theme.
• Theme code may be updated to maintain Ghost compatibility, fix defects or improve the product.
